Pediatrician Near Johns Creek, GA

If you live on the western side of Johns Creek, near the Alpharetta line, our office may be closer than the pediatrician you’re driving to now. The World of Pediatrics sits at 3255 North Point Parkway, near State Bridge Road. For most families in 30022 and 30097 on this side of town, getting here is a straight trip across on surface roads, with no GA 400 required.

We’ve cared for north Fulton children since 1989. We’re a small, mother-daughter practice now caring for four generations of families, and we work to keep your child with the same provider for well visits, physicals and chronic care.

Choosing a pediatrician is one of the first decisions new parents make, and it’s easier to make before the baby arrives. Before your due date, look over our practice, check that your insurance is on our list of accepted plans and save our number. Once your baby is discharged, call us, and we’ll see your newborn within 24 to 48 business hours. New patient forms are electronic, so you can finish them before the first visit. Many Johns Creek families deliver at Emory Johns Creek Hospital or at Northside Hospital, which delivers more babies than any other hospital system in metro Atlanta. Wherever your baby is born, the first visit with us works the same way.

  • A full newborn exam and a weight check against birth weight
  • Jaundice evaluation and a follow-up plan
  • Feeding support for breastfed, formula-fed and combination-fed babies
  • Umbilical cord care
  • Newborn screening follow-up
  • Safe-sleep guidance and when to call us

After the first visit, we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics well-visit schedule. We may add weight checks in the first weeks when a baby needs closer tracking.

At many pediatric offices, “separate” means a different set of chairs in the same waiting room, and every child is then seen in the same exam rooms. Our office has two sides: a sick side and a well side, each with its own waiting room and its own exam rooms. When you bring a newborn in for a weight check, you’re never in a room a coughing patient just left.

ServiceWhat it includes
Well-child visitsGrowth and development checkups on the AAP schedule through adolescence
ImmunizationsThe CDC and AAP vaccine schedule, given on time. Mandated vaccinations are required for all patients, which protects babies too young to be fully vaccinated.
Same-day sick visitsFevers, coughs, ear pain and more, seen with the first available provider on our sick side
School and sports physicalsGeorgia Form 3231 immunization certificates and Form 3300 hearing, vision, dental and nutrition screenings for Fulton County Schools. Forms are completed when your child is cleared; if the screening turns up something like chest pain during exercise, a follow-up visit or specialist clearance may be needed first.
Chronic careOngoing plans for conditions like asthma and ADHD, with the same provider whenever possible and coordination with specialists
Mental and behavioral healthSupport for your child’s emotional well-being as part of primary care
WOPCare membershipA membership option for families without insurance. It’s an alternative to paying for each visit and is usually more cost-efficient. It covers regular care with our providers and doesn’t add services or access beyond that.

“We’ve been brining our 3 children to Dr. Vayman for the last 9 years and can’t say enough about how wonderful they are at the World of Pediatrics! The office is always clean and the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Dr. Vayman treats her patients like family and always makes time to thoroughly diagnose and listen to concerns. We have also always been able to make same day sick visits which has been incredible!”

Dr. Rosalie Vayman with her baby

A lot of our Johns Creek families found us the same way: they realized the pediatrician down the road in Alpharetta was closer than the one they’d been driving to. My mother, Dr. Lyudmila Vayman, started this practice in 1989, and I’ve been part of it since 2018, after medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and residency in Savannah.

For new parents, I want the first weeks to feel manageable. We see newborns within 24 to 48 business hours of discharge, I spend a lot of time with parents on feeding, and our sick and well patients never share a waiting room or an exam room. After that first year, we’re here for the school physicals, the sick days and everything in between.

QuestionAnswer
We live in Johns Creek, but your office is in Alpharetta. How far is it?For families on the western side of Johns Creek, near the Alpharetta line, it’s a short drive on surface roads. We’re at 3255 North Point Parkway, Suite 102, near State Bridge Road, and you won’t need GA 400 to get here.
I’m a first-time parent and feel overwhelmed. How do I know this is the right practice?Look at what matters most in the first weeks: how quickly your newborn is seen, how much time the practice spends on feeding and questions, and whether healthy babies are kept apart from sick patients. We see newborns within 24 to 48 business hours of discharge, and our sick and well sides have separate waiting rooms and exam rooms. You’re welcome to call the office with questions before your due date.
Johns Creek families are busy year-round. How do you handle sick season? We offer same-day sick visits with the first available provider, seen on our sick side so newborns and well visits stay protected.

Families also come to us from across north Fulton and Forsyth. If you’re looking for an Alpharetta pediatrician, a Roswell pediatrician, a Cumming pediatrician or a Milton pediatrician, you’ll find the same newborn care, separate sick and well rooms and same-day sick visits at our North Point Parkway office.
