“What Makes The World of Pediatrics Special?”
The World of Pediatrics is a single physician practice. That means that Dr. Vayman personally KNOWS your child and is actively involved in the treatment of every patient. Your child will receive consistent care forming an invaluable relationship with someone that they can truly trust.
All pediatric practices care for the health of children, but Dr. Vayman treats her patients as if they were her own children. She is not only interested in the physical health of her patients, she thrives on seeing them reach their goals and enjoys congratulating them on their accomplishments. All our patients are truly considered “her babies” and she takes a personal interest in each and every one.
Our practice, also, takes a special interest and has an extensive knowledge in the treatment and assessment of internationally adopted children. Having immigrated from Russia, and coming from a long line of pediatricians, Dr. Vayman has a special knowledge of the unique assessment and medical care that these children usually require. She is, also, a fellow of the Adoption & Foster Care Section of The American Academy of Pediatrics.
Description of Practice
Our practice is located in Alpharetta, GA off of North Point Parkway near North Point Mall. We have separate sick and well waiting rooms to minimize the spreading of viruses to well children. In addition, we have a rash and virulent virus room with a separate entrance. Any child that is suspected of having chicken pox, poison ivy, or other type of easily spread condition will be met outside the practice and taken to this patient room directly, thereby again minimizing exposure to other children. We have TVs and colorful murals in our waiting rooms to provide children with a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere.

It is our policy to follow the recommendations of the American Academy of
Pediatrics. We recommend infant check-ups are completed within 48 hours
after hospital discharge and then at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 months.
Your child then requires a physical at 2 years and annually thereafter.
Pediatric Medical Services Include, but are not limited to the following:

Note: We provide Flu Vaccines to the whole family, so that every one may be immunized at the same time. We will file insurance for our pediatric patients only and provide documentation for others to file insurance for themselves.
